Deep Roots Music 5 Money In My Pocket
With a few weeks delay here's the fifth part of this great piece of documentary. The action on which is focused takes place in the stormy mid '70s, a time filled with political gang wars and poverty. Reggae music was in that time the only thing that united all the Jamaican people but Bob Marley took it further at a peace concert. He simbolicaly united the hands of the two adverse political leaders, Edward Seaga and Michael Manley calling for the stop of violence.
After a part of the Bob Marley concert come interviews with Michael Manley and Edward Seaga, recording sessions and interviews with Sheila Hilton, Dennis Brown, Harry J, Sonya Pottinger and Marcia Griffiths.
Enjoy brethren!
