KRS-One started 'Stop The Violence Movement' after the killing of a fan during a Boogie Down Productions and Public Enemy concert and the killing of Scott La Rock. It's a colab between BDP (KRS-One, D-Nice and MS. Melodie), Stetsasonic (Delite, Daddy-O, Wise and Fruitkwan), Kool Moe Dee, Just-Ice, Heavy-D, Doug E. Fresh, MC Lyte and Public Enemy ( Flavor Flav and Chuck D). This single was released in 1989 and a video tape was also created by the name of 'Overcoming Self -Destruction - The Making of the Self - Destruction Video'.
